This app can be used to read out data, e.g. temperature, relative humidity, pressure and other sensor values measured by the sensors on the Blens tag. The data is sent via Bluetooth low energy to the smart phone. Using the iPhone app, the data can also be viewed. The data is exchanged via the Bluetooth Advertisement mode. The Blens tags are powered by harvesting photovoltaic energy using a small solar cell. This app and the tags are developed by the Institute of Embedded Systems (InES) of the ZHAW School of Engineering.
